At Wild Acres Aussies have been enamored with the Australian Shepherd for decades. They possess incredible intellect, loyalty and unwavering devotion and the best companion one can hope for.

From Wild Acres Aussies, I introduce to you our AKC Standard Australian Shepherds, located in Callicoon, the foothills of the Catskills in New York State.  We strive to breed quality Aussies within the breed standard. Our focus is on breeding happy, healthy, well-socialized puppies., healthy and confident.

 Our black-tri sire has an exemplary temperament, is big-boned , with classical , symmetrical markings and a full white collar and is adaptable to urban and rural environments.  Our dogs are genetically tested and paired to complement each other.

Our dogs and puppies live with us in a loving home, get regular visits and playtime with our neighbors dog, Hayley. They are well socialized with plenty of exercise.

   My life has been committed to the arts. I am a fine art teacher at LaGuardia High School for Music & Art and Performing Arts at Lincoln Center in New York City. I have designed the photography program, specializing in Beginning and Advanced Photography and Photo Book publishing. My published photo book, “The Adventures of Kabuki” and its website, theadventuresofkabuki.com features true stories of my inquisitive cat as well as my personal illustrations. I also teach Advanced Placement Art History with the College Board 250 revised curriculum, and Fashion Design.


My oil paintings as well as photography reflect my passion for nature and respect for her integrity and beauty.


Nature offers respite from the chaos of this world. Restorative, rejuvenating, she embraces, like a cozy armchair that offers solace during times of personal turbulence. She whispers to me to breathe, center, rebalance. For me, nature offers the cosmic reordering, equilibrium.
